No. Their card is saved directly to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet. Customers scan a QR code, enter their name and mobile number, and their card is ready in seconds.
After a qualifying purchase, customers scan the counter QR code and stamp themselves. A live, ticking confirmation appears for a quick glance by your team, then their wallet card updates straight away. If your café uses Square and has connected it, regulars who have linked their card get their stamp automatically when they pay with it, with no scan.
Their card shows a reward screen. They swipe to claim it and show the live confirmation to your team. The card then resets so they can begin earning again.
A phone to scan-test the QR card. Print the ready-made card on your café printer as A4 or two A5 cards on one A4 sheet. Put it by the till and show your team. No app, special hardware, POS integration, staff device, call or site visit is required.

The at-café steps take about 10 minutes once your card and first reward are ready: print it, put it by the till, scan it once and show your team. Your account and card are ready as soon as sign-up succeeds; the 30 free days begin when you confirm counter-ready.
Yes. If your café uses Square, the Countloyal Square integration is ready to connect and go live. Connect Square and regulars who have linked their card get their stamp automatically when they pay with it. No scan at the till. Regulars join with your counter QR and link their card once. The counter QR remains available for Square or any other till, and Countloyal does not replace your POS. You can use the 30-day Loyalty trial to test it with five regulars before deciding whether to continue. See how it works with Square.
The card lives in a customer’s phone wallet, so it is less likely to be lost or left at home. You also get a dashboard for sign-ups, stamps and rewards instead of guessing from a pile of paper cards.
Yes. You choose your business name, brand colour, how many stamps earn a reward and what the reward is. Your customers’ wallet cards reflect your branding.

Yes. There are no lock-in contracts. Plans are month-to-month and you can cancel from your dashboard settings. You keep access until the end of the period you have paid for.
A photo of the counter QR keeps working only while it matches the code on your counter. When you refresh that QR, old photos stop working. Customers still stamp themselves: a recognised scan adds one stamp and shows a live, ticking confirmation for your team to glance at, so a saved screenshot is not that live screen. A repeat scan soon after a stamp must be confirmed as a separate purchase, and that stamp is flagged on the screen they show your team. A normal reward is claimed by swipe and shown live to your team.
You can honour existing paper stamps, offer a bonus stamp for switching and run both cards in parallel before phasing paper out. See the switching guide for the practical steps.
